"My Boogers are Running"

Hannah has become much more aware of when she is dirty.  She used to have no problem having sticky hands or food on her face.  Now, she asks to wash her hands or her face when they are dirty (this is usually after she's had pancakes or french toast with syrup - she doesn't like being sticky).  Or she says, "I need a wipey."  Over the past couple weeks, Hannah has at times had a stuffy nose, so we give her "Little Noses" nasal drops before bed.  This helps clear her stuffiness, but also makes her nose a little runny.  After putting her to bed, we hear her screaming, "Daddy!  Daddy!" from her crib.  We figure she's dropped one of the many friends she has with her in bed (her blankies, her bear, her bunny, her doggy, etc.).  Daddy gets up to her room and asks what the problem is, and she says, "My boogers are running.  I need a wipey."

The other night, Hannah made sure to let Daddy know, before he left her room, that she wasn't going to need a wipey.  "My boogers are dry, they not running," she told him.  Thanks for the update, Hannah.  Good to know.
