Tonight was Hannah's first real Hanukkah experience. This is really the first year that she's old enough to understand and enjoy it. She loved it! She had so much fun during the entire celebration, but I think her favorite part was lighting the candles. The joy and wonder in her eyes when we were lighting the candles made my day. She had fun trying to spin the dreidel and reading the Hanukkah books and singing Hanukkah songs. I wish I had gotten a photo of her dancing to "Oh Hanukkah," swaying from side to side. Of course, she enjoyed her gift (glitter glue; not so sure Daddy enjoyed it, perhaps a bit too messy).
