We recently started private swim lessons for the girls so that they can really learn swim safety and water survival skills. Hannah has friends in her class that had been going to swim lessons (some to the same place), and she had been asking to go. So we "signed her up." The first few lessons were a little rough, both girls crying out occasionally when asked to do a roll (rolling to the back to float) or a dunk. But, after several lessons, they are getting the hang of it and looking forward to lessons. Hannah has also been "practicing" in the bathtub, dunking her face in for several seconds and "washing" her ears.

At the most recent lesson, Emma decided she wanted to wear a pair of goggles (after she had gotten out of the pool, but whatever). She was quite amused. I think she liked the green tint the goggles shed on everything.
