Go to Sleep

Emma, darling, go to sleep.  It's been a long day.  Mommy went back to work today.  I missed you and I'm sure you missed me.  But it's time for you to go to sleep now.  Stop screaming and find your thumb again.  I've fed you.  I've changed your diaper.  I've rocked you and I've sung to you.  Mommy needs to relax with a glass of wine now.  I don't know why you are so upset but I imagine that you are overtired.  Calm down and go to sleep.  Please.
