The summer has officially begun! We celebrated at our friend's "pig roast," which we told Hannah was a "garden party." It was a pig roast. We had a lot of fun! The girls enjoyed their first-of-the-summer popsicles (or rather, first-ever popsicle for Emma) and Hannah played jump rope with her friend Riley. There was also a fun trip across the street onto the firetruck parked outside the fire house, which Emma loved. And there was plenty of dancing - all the kids rocked out to "Hey, I Just Met You," which was adorable. How do little girls know pop songs?!
On Monday, Aunt Sammy and I did the BolderBoulder, which was so fun! It's basically a big party, with bands and DJs and people dressed in awesome costumes throughout the 10K course. We weren't running for time, especially since Sam had woken up with a cold, but it was fun to take it easy and enjoy the sights. The family came to watch. That was my favorite part - running up to my girls, who were so excited to see me.
