After a very snowy April, it snowed AGAIN on Hannah's birthday. I told Hannah that she should remember that it snowed on her fourth birthday because it's pretty unusual to snow on May 1st.
We had a celebration at home after school with a little cake and lot of smiles and chocolate faces. Both girls had so much fun.
We saved Hannah's birthday present for Saturday morning since with the snow and the busy week she wouldn't have been able to ride her new bike! She was so excited when it was presented to her. Daddy told her there's nothing better in life than a new bike, and she believed it.
Hannah's birthday party at Bladium was a hit. The birthday party before hers had left a mess in the usual party area that the staff didn't want to clean up, so we had on of the entire soccer fields to ourselves. Hannah had so much fun. You could tell she was proud that it was her party. She welcomed each guest by running to take the gift out of their hands. She definitely ruled.
Emma is starting to pick up on Hannah's ways. Sometimes she can be an angel, always saying "thank you" and often doing what she's told. And she says the cutest things, like "Oh goodness" when she saw that it was snowing - again! (We had a very snowy April, followed by snow on May 1st.) But sometimes she is just as rude as her sister. Like when I tried to help her in bathroom and she told me, "Go walk away!" Wow. She's not even two yet! She also started hitting occasionally and testing limits. But she's still pretty adorable. And she loved celebrating Hannah's birthday! She started singing, "Happy duh-day ee-oo!" (meaning happy birthday to you) and gets so excited by any mention of birthdays. Her's is up soon!
