Winter Welcome

On Friday we went to watch the lights come for the first time this year on Christmas tree in the town center.  It was a big event with vendors selling treats (including s'mores, with fire pits for roasting marshmallows), music, carolers, and lots of people.  The girls were fascinated by all the lights and excitement.  Now Hannah is constantly asking to go back to the "farmer's market" (her term for the town center because on Sundays in the summer there's a farmer's market there) to see the Christmas tree.  I asked her if she wanted to go to tot Shabbat on Saturday and she told me no, she wanted to go see the tree.  We did both!
