Toddler Bed

We finally moved Hannah to a toddler bed tonight.  We got her a special clock that you can set to change colors at certain times to indicate when it's sleep time, wake time, time out, etc.  She was very excited about the clock, and very excited that she could get in and out of bed on her own.  So far so good - she got out of bed to tell me she had to go potty, and then got out again to get one of her blankets that had "fallen" (I saw in the monitor that she dropped it on purpose, probably so that she had an excuse to get out of bed, but I caught her and told her to get back in bed through the monitor - which surprised her).  Here's hoping she doesn't get out of bed in the middle of the night!

Here are a few shots of the girls in the bath this evening.  They are so cute.  Emma LOVES the bath.  She's like a little fish in there, swirling around and splashing everywhere.  She likes to look at her reflection in the drain catch think at the top of the tub near the faucet - and she likes to pull up to the faucet when it's off and put her mouth on it.  The other day she was so fascinated with the water coming out of the faucet.  So cute!

Emma's new favorite game is spit-talking at each other.  She just started doing it a couple of days ago.  Here is a little video:

And here is another video of a kiss from Emma.  She started kissing a couple of weeks ago, and it's the best thing ever!  It was tough to catch on video, and even this is not very genuine because I'm asking her to do it (while at the dinner table).  When she does it without being prompted (except for the prompt of me giving her a kiss first), it is so precious.

Hannah has started teasing Emma.  She's been offering something to Emma, and as soon as Emma is about to receive it, Hannah pulls it back.  She thinks it's funny, but I told her it's not nice to offer something to someone and then not give it to them.  This must be coming from kids at school.  I hope it doesn't last!  Refusing to share toys is one thing; teasing is another and will not be tolerated!  No three-year old terrorists in my house!
