Birthday came early for Daddy! His new cyclocross bike arrived. He is a pig in you know what. The only thing he loves as much as his wife and children are bikes. Hannah helped Daddy show off his new bike, and showed just how small she is compared to it!
We went to the pumpkin festival at Chatfield again this year. The girls love riding in the red wagon, which we pretty much use only once a year, for the pumpkin festival. Hannah was adamant about waiting in the 45-minute line for face painting, so Emma and Mommy went for a hay bale ride while Daddy and Hannah waited patiently, then saved Hannah a spot in line for the bouncy castle. Hannah was very pleased with her butterfly, but was not so pleased when we had to wash it off later. She insisted on taking a photo of the face-painted butterfly to school to show her friends.
We started to wait in line for a pony ride, but the line was just too long and we were getting ready to head home for nap, so we settled for a barrel-train ride like last year.
