We took the girls and Aunt Sammy to a seder at temple - our first one there (and, honestly, our first seder together as a family). It was nice, but it went on for a long time. The poor kids were hungry when, after about an hour and a half, it was finally time to get dinner. But they did pretty well. Emma had a lot of fun gathering around the cantor when it was time for the kids to sing the Four Questions. She was rockin' out. Hannah had fun bringing a bag of fake locusts up to the "bima" (there wasn't really a bima, but this was as close as it came) and tossing them into the pile of plagues. I'd say it was a good seder, but next year we'll do something a little more intimate - and a quicker path to eating dinner! (But we won't skip the four glasses of wine, of course.)
