We started soccer "lessons" this month after Daddy decided he'd had enough (for now, at least) of music class. This blog post is post-dated, and now, a few months after we started soccer, I can say that it was not a huge hit. Hannah spent some classes sitting next to her teacher or sitting in the soccer net. Emma actually had a good time, but we had to be there with her the entire time (her's was a parent-tot class) and we were not always excited to play the silly games they do for the toddlers. We ended up skipping several of the classes, opting instead for a play date, birthday party, or other activity that we decided we'd rather do. But those soccer outfits sure were cute, and the girls loved putting them on for Saturday morning soccer.
Swim is another activity keeping us busy. The girls really like going, but don't always like doing the things the teacher wants them to in order to learn how to swim (e.g., "washing their ears," floating on their backs, etc.). Again, they sure look cute in those swimsuits.
Birthday parties have been heavy lately! It seems like Hannah's friends were all born in the spring. We've had so many parties, once even two in one day! The photos below are from Hannah's first trip on a Ferris wheel and her first unassisted trip on a merry-go-round.
