Saturday

Emma insisted on feeding herself her yogurt this morning. Half of it ended up on her pajamas, so we took them off. She didn't want to go upstairs to put clean clothes on, so we let her hang in her diaper. Hannah wanted to be "maked" and we didn't object. Hey, it's Saturday. Then Emma got in the walker wagon and Hannah pushed her around the house. Behold, the naked wagoners. Then they got dressed and wagoned some more.

This afternoon we went to the park and Hannah was so proud to be able to climb up the wall to the slide, big boots and all (she insists on wearing her snow boots now that we've had the first snow of the season). "I'm doing it!" Then Emma wanted to give it a go. Emma got some help from Daddy but was still very proud.

Hannah rode the tricycle to the park and Emma rode it home. Emma was so happy to get a turn.

We went to H Burger for burgers (portabella for me) and on the way Hannah was singing a song. The ENTIRE way. It started out as a song about the letter H but turned into a stream of consciousness. For example, the lyrics included "the sun is in my eyes" (we were driving west as the sun was starting to set). On the way home, per Hannah's request, we sang "The Sun'll Come Out" the whole way.
