April

Quick summary of April - Hannah started really crawling (although it's more of a "commando" crawl or whatever you call it when they use one knee and one foot). She's gotten very certain of what she wants and doesn't want (much like her mother... and father) and lets you know! Grannie Ellie Mae came to visit the second weekend of April and we had lots of fun at the playground and at the mall (thanks, EM!).

Hannah got some new sunglasses which she loves. I'm hoping these will keep her from getting angry when the sun shines on her face, which she's been doing. Her big hat helps, too.

We had one day of very warm weather (at least only one weekend day). I put Hannah in a beach-babe dress, along with her sunglasses and hat, and we headed to the swings.

We took Hannah on her maiden voyage in the Chariot - the bike trailer she got for her birthday (a little early). Even though it was a little cold out, she loved it!

Hannah is still doing great at her daycare, but she won't sleep like she used to. We're lucky if she gets one good long nap, unlucky with just one 30-minute nap. Two naps doesn't happen anymore at daycare. Of course at home on the weekends, she sleeps a ton (probably making up for it). The only problem is that she's pretty tired at the end of the day, so our little bit of time with her is not always so joyful.

Jim had a few good races in April, one of which was in Utah, and is feeling good about his cycling. House news - lots of little illnesses in March and April - we're hoping May brings with it a long stretch of health!
